U.K. rock trio Stereophonics is to play a 12-date arena tour in support of a hits collection, “Decade In The Sun: The Best Of Stereophonics,” released Nov. 17 on V2. The label is now integrated into Mercury Records in the U.K. after Universal Music Group acquired the indie last August.

The British tour launches at Glasgow SECC on Dec. 2 and it will culminate with a date at London O2 arena. The dates were booked through London-based X-Ray and the promoter is Live Nation U.K.

The band, which formed in Wales, is also playing the U.K. V Festival on Aug. 16 and 17. Stereophonics has released six studio albums, five of which reached No. 1 in the Official U.K. Charts Co.’s weekly listings.
