Oasis has concluded the five-day BBC Electric Proms event with a show at London's Roundhouse venue featuring 50 guest vocalists from the Crouch End Festival Chorus.

The choir collaborated with the U.K. rock act on several songs, including the encore of The Beatles' "I Am The Walrus" and "I'm Outta Time" from the band's latest set, "Dig Out Your Soul" (Big Brother).

Guests at the concert included James Bond star Daniel Craig, who Noel Gallagher singled out in the audience, suggesting the actor should "get me the next James Bond theme." Gallagher went on to criticise the Jack White and Alicia Keys Bond theme, "Another Way To Die" (RCA).

The band's Oct. 26 show, screened on BBC One shortly after, coincided with strong sales figures for its summer 2009 U.K. and Ireland tour. Promoters stated that 500,000 tickets sold by 3pm on Oct. 24 after going on sale that morning, claiming the tour has broken box office records.

The band sold out two dates at the 90,000-capacity Wembley Stadium on July 11 and July 12, adding a further show on July 9. A June 4 date at Manchester Heaton Park was added after two dates there sold out. The band also sold out their Sunderland Stadium Of Light (June 10) and Edinburgh Murrayfield (June 17) shows in hours.

"This has to be the most tickets ever sold by an artist in the U.K. in one day," said co-promoter Chris York of SJM Concerts in a statement. Metropolis Music is the other promoter for the English dates.

Oasis' first ever headline concert at Dublin's 80,000-capacity Slaine Castle, promoted by MCD on June 20, has also sold out. Promoters for Scottish dates are PCL and Regular Music.

The Electric Proms, now in its third year, aims to create "new moments in music" and the series of shows was also staged in Liverpool for the first time. Artists on the bill included Burt Bacharach, Keane, and The Streets. The BBC was the promoter for the event; SJM Concerts were production partners for Liverpool and Metropolis Music were production partners for London.
