Digital satellite channel Sky 1 has secured exclusive U.K. broadcast rights to the Britney Spears special, "Britney: For The Record."

The 90-minute film will follow the singer as she records and promotes her new album, "Circus" (Jive/Sony BMG), released Dec. 1 in the U.K.

Spears' granted access to production company Radical Media for a three-month period. The results are described as showing "the reality of trying to live a normal life after all that has been exposed through the media."

Sky 1 says it will screen the documentary within 24 hours of it showing in the U.S., where it is set to air on MTV Nov. 30. It will also be shown on Sky 1 HD.

The show is a Radical Media Production for MTV America, directed by Phil Griffin. FremantleMedia Enterprises is responsible for international distribution outside North America.
