Rob Wilmshurst now heads up the U.K. arm of ticketing company See Tickets in the renamed role of CEO.

Wilmshurst has been with the company since its inception, most recently as COO, and has over 18 years experience in the ticketing industry. He takes over from managing director Nick Blackburn in a role re-structured after parent company Stage Entertainment sold a majority stake in its pan-European ticketing division to Parcom Capital last September.

Blackburn has been promoted to chief commercial officer of the executive board of See Tickets International. He joins CEO Bart van Schriek and CFO Stephanie Hosman.

"Nick's extensive experience in the ticketing world will be of great value in the growth of our international business," said Bart van Schriek in a statement. "Rob's successful entrepreneurial background in ticketing will greatly benefit our evolving business in the U.K."

The announcements follow See Tickets International's consolidation as a pan-European ticketing company, now representing the U.K., Germany, Holland, Belgium, France, Spain, Italy, Austria and Poland.
