Truck Festival, an independently run U.K. festival that takes place annually in Oxfordshire, England, is to reach across the Atlantic and launch a U.S. offshoot next year.

Entitled Truck America, the Wfestival will take place at the Full Moon Resort in the Catskilll Mountains, upstate New York, on April 30 to May 2. Capacity is anticipated to be in the region of 1,000. No acts have yet been confirmed for the event.

Founded by Robin and Joe Bennett, the small-scale Truck Festival has run for the past 12 years and regularly attracts a sell-out audience of approx 5,000. This year’s U.K. event takes place July 23 to 25, although no acts have currently been announced.

Previous acts to play the festival include Ash, The Lemonheads, Supergrass, The Raveonettes and Regina Spektor.
