Data science and digital marketing platform Beatchain has announced strategic partnerships with independent music company Eleven Seven Label Group (E7LG) and Doc McGhee's management company, McGhee Entertainment. Moving forward, Beatchain will use its technology platform to help both companies grow developing artists' fan bases and engagement.
Beatchain is a data-driven platform offering both business-to-consumer and a business-to-business pro-version services designed to allow users to discover emerging acts or refine marketing and promotional efforts and more. The company is led by founder Ben Mendoza with a team that includes behavioral economists, Ph.D. data scientists, artificial intelligence and machine learning experts and senior music industry professionals.
McGhee Entertainment -- which reps Kiss, Paul Stanley, Ted Nugent and others -- will utilize a special feature set in development intended for managers of touring artists, as well as agency, ticketing company and promoter use. It will allow the company to identify the most viable potential tour markets, estimate appropriate venue size and ticket pricing, then hyper-target tour markets to promote to only to fans most likely to respond, presumably resulting in sellout concerts at a reduced promotional cost.
Meanwhile, E7LG will use the Beatchain platform to work with developing acts Just Loud and Bang Bang Romeo. As well, Beatchain's data analysis will be used to inform decision making in A&R, catalogs, soundtracks, new music, ticketing, social media, advertising and geographic targeting of the best markets.
