Musician-Related Products Reach $122 Million In Licensing Revenue, Per 2013 LIMA Report

Musical performers and their works collected $122 million in licensing revenue in 2012, a 1.6% increase over 2011, according to a new report issued this week by the International Licensing Industry Merchandisers Association (LIMA)'s 2013 Licensing Industry Report. The annual Licensing Expo 2013 kicked off Tuesday in Las Vegas.

As shown below, music was a small fraction of the estimated $5.454 billion in royalty revenue grossed by licensors in the U.S. and Canada in 2012, rising 2.5% over the year prior.
