Coming right on the heels of the success of its Andre 3000-Damon Albarn-James Murphy collaboration campaign, Converse has announced another, pairing up DJ A-Trak with singer Kimbra and Foster the People frontman Mark Foster for the latest installment in the company's "Three Artists. One Song" series.

The new track, titled "Warrior" and recorded partially at Converse's Rubber Tracks studio in Brooklyn and partially while the artists were on tour, will be released April 5 along with a music video at the Journeys website, with which Converse has partnered to exclusively release their seasonal colors collection of footwear. That line of Chuck Taylors will also launch April 5.

While the prior collaboration brought together three seasoned artists with well-established fan bases, this one combined three artists on the rise in their careers. A-Trak's notoriety as a DJ only grew after forming Duck Sauce in 2009, and with EDM on the rise across the board, he is one of the genre's biggest names. Kimbra, meanwhile, has received worldwide notoriety after being the featured singer on Gotye's massive recent single "Somebody That I Used To Know," while her debut album VOWS has already gone platinum in Australia. Foster The People are fresh off 2 Grammy nominations for debut album Torches and breakout track "Pumped Up Kicks," and performed with the Beach Boys at this year's Grammy Awards.

Much was made of the success of the Albarn-Murphy-Andre collaboration, and Foster said that fans of the trio-collaborative gimmick are in for another treat with this song. "I had such a good time diving into the creative process working with two incredible artists to create a sound that is uniquely our own," he said in a statement. "This project has given me a newfound appreciation for the power of collaboration which is something that Converse really understands."

This will be the seventh installment of the "Three Artists. One Song" series for Converse, which had snagged names like Andrew W.K., Soulja Boy, and Matt and Kim in the past.

"With each new collaboration we're continually blown away by how talented these artists are when they come together to express themselves," said Joy Howard, Vice President of North America Brand Marketing for Converse in a statement. "Mark Foster, Kimbra, and A-Trak are making some of the most exciting music out there today and we're thrilled that our partnership with Journeys could be the catalyst for bringing them together."
