Gains in mobile advertising helped Pandora achieve record revenue in the quarter ending Oct. 31. The company had revenue of $181.6 million in the quarter, a 50.3% improvement over the prior-year period. Net loss was $1.7 million, or $0.01 per share. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected positive earnings per share of $0.06. Pandora’s EPS was $0.01 a year ago. The current share price (about $29) gives Pandora a market capitalization of $5.2 billion. Its shares are up 223% year-to-date and 313% in the last 12 months. Mobile advertising improved 58% to $104.9 million.
