As I Lay Dying's Tim Lambesis pled not guilty to a solicitation-of-murder charge at his arraignment on Thursday.
Bail was set at $3 million, sources on the scene confirmed to Billboard. Prosecutors asked for $20 million.
Lambesis is alleged to have asked an undercover detective to kill his estranged wife, Meggan. On Thursday, prosecutors said a recording exists of Lambesis giving the officer an envelope with cash, home gate codes and pictures of Meggan, alleging the musician told the officer to kill her while he was with their children in order to establish an alibi.
Lambesis' fellow As I Lay Dying members were in court on Thursday in support, as were reps for Metal Blade Records, 5B Management and the band's attorney, Ian Friedman.
