Viacom music brands MTV, VH1 and CMT continue a push to return to their music-first roots with an "artist hub" that'll provide acts opportunities on their respective Viacom platforms and additional opportunities with partners and brands. The hub is an extension of the artist websites MTV launched last year followed by similar sites on the VH1 and CMT domains. The hub takes these properties "back to our roots" of connecting artists with fans, Viacom Music Group president Van Toffler said in a statement.
