Stockholm-based label Anderson Records has inked a Scandinavian sales and distribution deal with Universal Music Sweden. Anderson founder and managing director Marie Ledin says the deal will run for at least three years. Universal will handle the label's sales, promotion and distribution. Anderson previously went through Warner Music Sweden.

"I started working in the business with [Universal Sweden affiliate] Polar Music, so it's like coming home," Ledin says.

Anderson's catalog includes material by pop/rock acts Tomas Ledin (Marie's husband), who has an album due March 3; Eva Dahlgren; and former ABBA member Frida.

The label was founded in 1996 and named in honor of Ledin's father, the late Stig Anderson, manager of ABBA and founder of the Polar Music Prize.
