Sony Music U.K. has upped Pete Leggatt to the new position of GM of business development.

Sony Music U.K. has upped Pete Leggatt to the new position of GM of business development.

Reporting to VP of strategic marketing Graham Samuels, Leggatt takes on responsibility for the e-media department, in addition to his current duties as head of commercial markets.

Leggatt joined Sony in 1995. He has held various functions in sales and special markets, before being named director of commercial markets last year.

Prior to joining Sony, Leggatt worked for Universal (then PolyGram) as national accounts manager.
