The Neville Brothers have signed a licensing deal with Back Porch/Narada Records for the release of their next album. The as-yet-untitled set is due Sept. 21 via the family's Neville Nation imprint and is the group's first studio release since 1999's "Valence Street" (Columbia). It was produced by the Brothers in tandem with Milton Davis (John Mellencamp, Dionne Farris).

Ahead of its release, the Neville Brothers have lined up a 32-date North American tour through September. At the outset are May 1-2 shows in New Orleans as part of the annual Jazz & Heritage Festival. Aaron Neville also has a handful of dates scheduled with duet partner Linda Ronstadt in late May and mid-June.
