Digital Rights Agency, a digital distributor of independent-label content to music services like iTunes and Napster, has inked a three-year deal to handle more than 10,000 tracks from Navarre Corp.

Digital Rights Agency, a digital distributor of independent-label content to music services like iTunes and Napster, has inked a three-year deal to handle more than 10,000 tracks from Navarre Corp.

The non-exclusive agreement covers digital management and distribution of more than 30 Navarre-distributed labels, including Liquid 8, Dreamcatcher, Naked Music, Reader's Digest and Suburban Noize. Artists to be distributed under the deal include Kenny Rogers, Ray Charles, Smokey Robinson, the Dead Kennedys, Patsy Cline, Louie Armstrong, Insane Clown Posse, Fear Factory and Daryl Hall.

Digital Rights Agency now distributes more than 100 independent labels. In addition to iTunes and Napster, the company has deals with Rhapsody, MusicMatch, Sony Connect, Microsoft, Walmart.com, Towerrecords.com, MusicNow, AT&T, Verizon, Sprint and NTT Docomo (Japan).
