Koch Records has moved up the street date of "2Pac Live" in order to fend off lost sales due to bootleg versions of the album, according to Rob Scarcello, senior VP of sales and marketing for Koch Entertainment Distribution, which distributes the label.

The set, which was originally due Aug. 10, will now come out this Friday (Aug. 6). It comprises 13 tracks of live performances culled from the late rapper's stint on Death Row Records.

KED has altered the shipment schedule on the album to ensure that product will be delivered to all accounts in time for the new release date.
