The Harry Fox Agency has entered into an agreement with MusicMatch for its new On Demand subscription service.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

The service allows MusicMatch customers to send individual songs or complete playlists to friends who are not subscribers. Recipients of tracks who are not MusicMatch subscribers can play back tracks up to three times free of charge.

HFA president/CEO Gary Churgin praised the sharing feature of the new service, noting that word-of-mouth is "such an important avenue for music discovery."
