XM Satellite Radio has named radio-industry veteran Eric Logan as its executive VP of programming. Based in the company's Washington, D.C., offices, Logan reports to president/CEO Hugh Panero.

XM Satellite Radio has named radio-industry veteran Eric Logan as its executive VP of programming. Based in the company's Washington, D.C., offices, Logan reports to president/CEO Hugh Panero.

Logan joins from Citadel Broadcasting, where he was most recently president of programming. He has 19 years of experience in the industry, including as VP of programming at Infinity Broadcasting.

"Eric brings experience in markets large and small, and at the corporate and the local station level. We're thrilled to have him on board," says Panero in a statement.
