MTV’s TAM division is the network’s principal interface with the music industry. In his new role, Caring’s chief duty will be to liaise with artist management and the international divisions of all labels, with a view to developing marketing and promotional opportunities for local and international artists.

Since 2002, Caring, a 10-year MTV veteran, has held the role as head of talent and artist relations (TAR) for MTV Networks U.K. and Ireland.

Caring will report to Harriett Brand, senior VP, music, MTV Networks International. He will work alongside Hans Hagman, VP, music programming, who also reports to Brand.
