DJ to handle music-supervision duties.

International DJ/producer Paul Oakenfold has been tapped to handle music-supervision duties for "GoldenEye: Rogue Agent," the new video/DVD game from Electronic Arts. As music supervisor, Oakenfold will compose an original score and create the game's musical makeup. Licensed by MGM Interactive, "GoldenEye: Rogue Agent" ships in November on the Playstation 2 console, Microsoft's Xbox video game system and Nintendo GameCube.

In the last four years, Oakenfold has scored and made musical contributions to "Get Carter," "Swordfish," "Planet of the Apes," "The Bourne Identity," "The Matrix Reloaded" and other films. He also created the theme song for the NBC show, "Las Vegas." Over that span, he has also remixed tracks by Justin Timberlake, Jennifer Lopez, Elvis Presley and Carlos Vives.

On Aug. 10, Los Angeles-based Thrive Records released Oakenfold's new DJ compilation, the two-disc "Creamfields." It follows Oakenfold-helmed compilations like "Tranceport" and "Perfecto Presents ... Another World," as well as the artist's 2002 album, "Bunkka" (Maverick).
