Pat Dollard and Ryan Kavanaugh's Relativity Management is expanding to music, launching a music management division and announcing a strategic alliance with the music management firm Worlds End to form a new record label.

The alliance will jointly use the network of producers and songwriters repped by Worlds End to produce film soundtracks for movie studios and production companies. Headed by Alex Lipsitz, Relativity Music Management already reps a number of musical acts, such as producer Brad Todd and acts including Last Empire, Brent Roam, Chad Johnson and Lucy Walsh.

"There is no end stop for the production of feature film soundtracks. There are many 'piecemeal' ways to do it; however, with the extensive network of producers and talent at Worlds End and the access of Relativity to production companies and studios, we truly believe we are filling a void in the industry," Lipsitz said.

Added Worlds End's Andre Brightman: "We are really excited to be partnering with a company of the stature of Relativity. With all of our work in the soundtrack business, paired with Relativity's connections and clients in the film business, together we are creating the ultimate platform."

Relativity currently manages entities such as Section 8, Atmosphere and Exception/Wild Bunch and recently expanded its executive roster when it acquired Laina Cohn and Michael Sugar's Acronym Entertainment.
