Following its purchase last year of Great American Country, Scripps Networks has made several key changes in the cable network's management team.

Scott Durand has been promoted to VP of operations. Sarah Trahern joins GAC as VP of programming. Greg Neal, who has been involved in the creative development of several of Scripps' networks, will oversee creative services. All three report to GAC president Jeff Wayne.

Durand, who joined GAC seven years ago, most recently served as VP of marketing. He remains based in Denver.

Trahern arrives from another Scripps property, the Shop At Home network, where she was VP of programming and on-air strategy. Prior to that job, she was a producer at TNN and CMT in Nashville and has worked in programming at C-Span and PBS.

Neal, who is VP of programming at Shop At Home, will expand his duties to include creative development for GAC.

Trahern and Neal remain based in Nashville.
