Firm moves into film, TV, books.

The Agency Group is expanding its operations beyond music into the film, television and literary worlds, the company announced today.

Three agents -- Cynthia Booth, Jason Priluck and Brandon Stein -- have joined the firm in L.A. as part of the move. All three come to TAG from Writers & Artists Agency.

While music continues to be the core focus for TAG, the company has diversified over the past few months, moving into complementary areas of business.

New York-based TAG president Steve Martin will oversee the expansion. The three new agents will work closely with New York-based television comedy agent Conan Smith and Los Angeles-based literary agent Mark Gerald. Smith and Gerald joined the company last year.

TAG recently announced a restructuring that saw Steve Herman, who was president of Canadian operations, take the helm as CEO of North America, reporting to worldwide CEO Neil Warnock.
