Distributor re-ups with Putumayo, Bar None.

Port Washington, New York-based Koch Entertainment Distribution revealed that it has re-signed a number of key labels to exclusive U.S. distribution deals. Among the labels the distributor has reached agreements with are Putamayo World Music, Bar None Records and Babygrande Records.

New York-based Putumayo has re-signed with Koch through 2007, according to the distributor. Upcoming released include compilations of Italian music from the 1950s and Egyptian dance music.

Hoboken, New Jersey-based Bar None Records has issued albums from the likes of Yo La Tengo and Puffy Ami Yumi, and New York-based hip-hop label Babygrande will release new albums from GZA and Immortal Technique, among others.

Koch has also re-upped with Northampton, Mass.-based roots label Signature Sounds -- which is prepping an album from Amy Rigby -- Wilmington, N.C.-based AnimEigo -- which specializes in animie -- and DPTV, the record label arm of Detroit Public Television, which has had success with Irishman Daniel O'Donnell.
