Format offers more video than DualDisc.

The first DVDplus title, "Twisted Sister's Live at Wacken The Reunion" ($19.98), will be released June 28 from Eagle Rock Entertainment.

The DVDplus format, which features full-length DVD content on one side and an audio CD on the other, is compatible with all DVD players and will be packaged in a jewel box. Up to two hours of video content can be stored on the DVD side whereas DualDisc cDVDs can only store about 30 minutes.

DVDplus was created by record producer/engineer Dieter Dierks. It is unknown when other DVDplus titles will be debuting.

The DVD portion of this Twisted Sister title features the group's set at the Wacken Open Air festival in Germany in 2003 and interviews with band members about their break-up and reunion. The CD side features a number of previously unreleased live tracks recorded between 1980 and 1982 as well as six songs from the Wacken concert.
