Branch will oversee world, classical rosters.

New York-based Artemis Records has created the Artemis Records Lifestyle Group, a new branch that will encompass the label's classical and world rosters. Greg Barbero, currently the president of Artemis/Vanguard Classics, will lead the division. He reports to Artemis president/CEO Daniel Glass.

Artemis Records Lifestyle Group combines the rosters Vanguard Classics and world imprint Triloka. New artists will be signed to the division, according to a release from Aretemis, and A&R will be overseen by Triloka president Mitchell Markus. Rob Plotz, who has enjoyed stints with Arista Records and BMG Classics, will serve as director of marketing for the new division.

Upcoming releases through the Artemis Records Lifestyle Group include albums from classical pianist Leon Fleisher, singer/songwriter Jesse Colin Young, the Boston Pops Orchestra, composer Steven Mercurio and a poetry driven release from Les Nubians.
