Venture to be based in L.A., London.

Diversified Entertainment Properties (DEP), a Los Angeles-based entertainment, brand development and marketing company, is teaming with Hook Entertainment on a new management and label venture called Edge Management, has learned.

The company will have offices in Los Angeles and London. Jake Hooker -- a songwriter and manager best known for co-writing the Joan Jett hit "I Love Rock N Roll" -- will serve as President of Edge Management.

Hooker, founder of Hook Entertainment, represents Edgar Winter, the Knack, Orleans and Ten Years After, all of who now will be represented by Edge. The company is also launching a label division for its acts called Edge Records.

Jonathan Fink, CEO of DEP, will also serve as CEO of the newly formed company. Music industry veteran Clive Fox will serve as chairman.

DEP is an investor in a number of media and technology companies, including mobile content creator, Bonus Mobile.
