Wireless operator Sprint has launched a wireless radio service in partnership with Sirius Satellite Radio. Called Sirius Music, the service gives Sprint subscribers access to 20 commercial-free channels of Sirius radio programming across several genres. It also includes a channel of artist interviews and exclusive performances.

The Sirius programming will not transmit via the Sirius satellite network, but rather via Sprint's wireless cellular network. To access the service, Sprint customers must subscribe to Sprint's nationwide data plan and own a special multimedia phone with Sprint's media player installed. The cost is $7 a month for unlimited access.

This is Sprint's third streaming music service. The carrier has additional wireless streaming radio content partnerships with MusicChoice and MSpot.
