Cherry Lane Music Publishing has restructured its management, promoting several members of its team and expanding their roles for the New York-based company.

Mike Connelly, a 20-year Cherry Lane veteran, has been promoted to senior VP of business development. He will pursue new business opportunities for the company while continuing his work in financial research and analysis.

Richard Stumpf has been promoted to VP of creative services and marketing. He will manage the publisher's creative and marketing staff as well as its joint-venture relationships. Stumpf will also oversee the signing and development of Cherry Lane artists and their catalogs while continuing to pursue new strategic business opportunities for the company.

Phil Cialdella will serve as VP of administration and licensing. He adds the licensing department to his staff and will oversee the day-to-day operations of synchronization, mechanical and new media licensing as well as all copyright administration functions. Cialdella will also help the company identify and analyze potential publishing opportunities.

Keith Hauprich has been upped to senior director of business and legal affairs. He will be responsible for all legal matters including issues related to licensing and acquisitions. Hauprich will also coordinate relationships with outside counsel and identify new business opportunities.

Brooke Primont has become director of film and television music. She will oversee all aspects of pitching to the film and television community. Primont will also pursue new client acquisitions in that sector and contemporary artist signings.

Cherry Lane, established in 1960, is an independent music publisher with a catalog of current and legendary artists/writers ranging from The Black Eyed Peas and John Legend to John Denver and Elvis Presley. It has a variety of joint-venture and other relationships with such companies as NFL Films, NASCAR, Electronic Arts, DreamWorks Films, Icon Productions, Telemundo and Dimensional Music Publishing.
