Clifton Jansky, the Fox Brothers and Dennis Agajanian are the top nominees for the 11th annual Inspirational Country Music Awards (previously the Christian Country Music Awards) slated for Nov. 10 at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium.
Hosted by Linda Davis and the 700 Club's Lisa Ryan, the awards will be televised on Great American Country, with nine additional airings on the network during November and December. It will be re-broadcast on 12 other cable networks including PAX and FOX affiliates.
Perennial favorites Agajanian, Jansky and the Fox Brothers each received four nominations for the member-voted ICMs, which are the centerpiece of Inspirational Country Music Week, November 5-10 in Nashville. The event includes seminars, showcases and other activities.
Jansky is nominated in the entertainer of the year, male vocalist, songwriter and song of the year categories. Agajanian is up for entertainer, musician and pioneer awards as well as the music evangelist of the year honor. The Fox Brothers are nominated in the entertainer, vocal group, song and video categories.
Mainstream country acts Tim McGraw and Craig Morgan received three nods each. McGraw's "Live Like You Were Dying" is nominated for song and his hit "Drugs or Jesus" received a nomination in the video of the year.
Morgan's "That's What I Love About A Sunday" is nominated in the song and video categories. Both artists are up for the mainstream country artist accolade.
