Intended to revamp multi-platform strategies.

With a new organizational structure put in place today, MTV hopes to ratchet up its multi-platform strategies by delivering more music, news and entertainment.

Beginning immediately, MTV's operations will center around two integrated structures. One focuses on music, news and short-form video development for linear TV, online, VOD, broadband and wireless platforms, while the other continues to develop long-form content for TV. MTV president Christina Norman and Brian Graden, president of entertainment for MTV Networks Music Group and president of Logo, helm these developments and changes.

Coinciding with this structural change are many new appointments. Leading the pack on the music, news and short-form front is Dave Sirulnick. The former executive VP of news & production, Sirulnick's new position is exective VP of MTV multi-platform production, news and music. Amy Doyle, formerly VP of music programming, is now senior VP of music & talent for MTV. MTV/MTV2 label relations VP Peter Baron is adding programming duties for MHD, VOD and other platforms to his duties. Tony DiBari, formerly VP of production, is now senior VP of production. Baron reports to Doyle, who, along with DiBari, now reports to Sirulnick. In his new role, Sirulnick continues to report to Graden.

Another team, focused on 30- and 60-minute programming on linear TV, is overseen by Lois Curren, executive VP of MTV series entertainment & programming. Curren was previously the executive VP of series development. Curren will continue reporting to Graden. Tony DiSanto moves from being senior VP of production, development & animation to executive VP of series development and animation. DiSanto also takes on the role of head of programming for MTV2. DiSanto reports to Curren and MTV2 GM David Cohn.

Keeping the short- and long-form structures working together seamlessly is Paul DeBenedittis. Formerly senior VP of program planning & scheduling, DeBenedittis is now executive VP of multi-platform programming, content strategy and scheduling. He reports to Sirulnick and Curren.

Finally, Tina Exarhos jettisons from executive VP of marketing to executive VP of marketing & multi-platform creative, where she will oversee all of MTV's branding and marketing efforts. She continues reporting to Norman.
