Moves from BNA to head promotion dept.
Jimmy Rector the longtime Southeast regional promoter at BNA Records, is exiting the label April 21 to join Raybaw Records as head of promotion.
Additionally, Rector will be a partner in the Warner Bros.-affiliated label, which was launched in late 2004. Other partners in the label include Big & Rich's Kenny Alphin and John Rich, plus artists Gretchen Wilson and Jon Nicholson and executive Cory Gierman, who heads the label's operations.
All are members of the loosely affiliated group of Nashville musicians known as the Muzik Mafia who perform together and support each other's work.
Raybaw's roster includes Cowboy Troy, James Otto and rapper Chance.
No replacement has been named at BNA.
