Rhapsody subscribers now have access to classic, out-of-print recordings that the Verve Music Group and Rhino Records released as digital exclusives through the online music service May 23.

Verve will release 28 titles that are currently unavailable for purchase anywhere in the U.S. Some of the artists include Anita O’Day, Art Tatum, Duke Ellington and Ella Fitzgerald. The albums will be exclusively available through Rhapsody for three months.

Rhino Records will offer over 160 currently unavailable recordings that will be released in installments of about two-dozen each month for the next six months. Artists from the label include The Misfits, Mott The Hoople, Keith Jarrett and the Violent Femmes.

Subscribers will be able to stream, download, or purchases the recordings through Rhapsody as well as transfer them to compatible music players.
