Shawn Carter, aka rapper Jay-Z and Def Jam Recordings president/CEO, has partnered with HP for its The Computer Is Personal Again ad campaign. Carter appears in a 60-second spot that debuts tonight (June 8) during the NBA Finals on ABC. Created by the Goodby, Silverstein & Partners agency in San Francisco, and helmed by partner/creative director Steve Simpson, the ad spotlights Carter in different professional and personal settings, from mixing music and discovering new talent to planning a tour itinerary and reviewing his retirement portfolio.

HP is investing several hundred million dollars in The Computer Is Personal Again, the company's first-ever global marketing campaign for its Personal Systems Group.
