Effective immediately, EMI Music Publishing Brazil, which functioned as a stand-alone entity, will fall under the jurisdiction of the publisher's Latin American division.

Nestor Casonu, regional managing director, Latin America, will continue to oversee all regional operations and will add Brazil to his duties. Jose Antonio Perdomo, MD of EMI Music Publishing Brazil, will leave his post but will act as a senior consultant to Casonú. Perdomo had been with the company for 33 years.

Casonu will continue to be based in Miami, from where he oversees all of EMI's music publishing operations in the Latin region, including offices in Mexico, Argentina, Chile, U.S. Latin, and now, Brazil. He continues to report to Roger Faxon, chairman and CEO of EMI Music Publishing.
