Luana Pagani, Sony BMG's longtime senior VP of marketing for Latin America announced plans to leave her post to launch her own consultancy firm. Pagani, the most senior ranking woman in a major Latin label was also, for many years, Sony BMG Latin America's top marketing executive and was instrumental in developing the careers of stars such as Shakira, Ricky Martin, Alejandro Fernández, Chayanne and Ricardo Arjona. Pagani's firm will work in a consultant capacity with Sony BMG for key regional projects.

At Warner Music Latin America, Warner Music Brazil president Claudio Conde will leave his post. He will be replaced by Sergio Affonso, current head of Warner Music Mexico.

In turn, Tomas Rodriguez, CFO of Warner's Mexico operation, will be appointed GM, reporting directly to Inigo Zabala, chairman of Warner Music Latin America.

Warner's marketing director for U.S. Latin, Angel Kaminsky, will move to Mexico where he'll take over the post of marketing and conent VP, also reporting to Zabala.
