After recently canceling several U.S. shows because of visa difficulties, Rodrigo Sanchez of Latin rock duo Rodrigo y Gabriela today (March 23) obtained his entertainment working visa from the American Embassy in Mexico City.

The duo, which missed appearances at last week's South by Southwest festival in Austin, Texas, will continue with its U.S. tour starting April 14 at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles.

As previously reported, Sanchez's work visa was put on hold last week because his name was similar to that of a wanted criminal, according to the band's manager. Along with a festival date in Florida, the duo was forced to postpone dates in Atlanta, Nashville and Washington, D.C.
