Mexico-based pop duo Sin Bandera are taking a break from recording together to focus on individual projects, the group's management firm Westwood Entertainment said in a statement.

Singer-songwriters Leonel García y Noel Schajris made their Sony BMG debut with the album "Sin Bandera" in 2001. Since then, their many hits have included "Mientes Tan Bien," "Kilometros," "Entra en Mi Vida," "Que Me Alcance la Vida," "Que Lloró," "Si La Ves" and "Será," among others.

Sin Bandera's last album, "Pasado," a collection of covers, hit No. 12 on Billboard's Top Latin Albums chart last December.

The duo hasn't ruled out recording together again, according to the statement.
