Icon José Feliciano is in the studio in Miami recording an all-bachata album. Feliciano, whose last album featured Latin standards performed as duets with various artists, will again record standards, but this time classics of Puerto Rican and Dominican music, set to the traditional bachata rhythm.
"Señor Bachata," the name is a variation of Feliciano's album "Señor Bolero," will also feature a handful of duets, including one with reggaetón duo Rakim & Ken-Y and another with Millie Quezada. Track list includes "Perfume de Gardenia" and "Perdidos."
"Señor Bachata" is being produced by Marco Hernández of Juan Luis Guerra fame.
