Entertainers 4 Education Alliance has teamed with New York hip-hop radio station Hot 97 and Catapult Online for 2nd annual Stay In School concert, set for Oct. 17 at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York.

Hot 97 and MTV personality DJ Cipha Sound will host the event, with Lil Mama, Juelz Santana, Nina Sky, Red Café, Jim Jones, Papoose and Jason Fox, among others, scheduled to perform.

Entertainers 4 Education Alliance is a non-profit that aims to provide support and encouragement to at-risk inner-city youth. "The goal of this event is to raise awareness of the alarmingly high dropout rate in the United States and send a powerful message to over 2,500 New York City inner city youth encouraging them to make smart choices about their future and to stay in school," says Tonya Lewis, executive director at Entertainers 4 Education Alliance.

In addition to the lineup, "America's Next Top model" Jaslene Gonzalez, Bronx Borough president Adolpho Clarion Jr., former New York Knicks basketball player John Starks, Warner Music Group executive VP Kevin Liles, Hot 97's DJ Envy, among others, will be in attendance.
