Downtown Music Publishing has signed a worldwide administration agreement with producer/songwriter Antonina Armato, who recently co-wrote and co-produced the "Hannah Montana 2: Meet Miley Cyrus" single "See You Again" and six other tracks on the multi-platinum album. The deal covers Armato's current catalog and future work.

Armato also recently co-wrote and co-produced nine cuts on Aly & AJ's "Insomniatic" album; "Bet On It" from the multi-platinum "High School Musical 2" album; and the Sick Puppies album "Dressed Up As Life," including the single "All the Same," which reached No. 8 on the Billboard Hot Modern Rock Tracks.

The Sick Puppies album was the first release on the Virgin/EMI-distributed Rock Mafia Records, which Armato co-owns with Tim James and Paul Palmer.

Armato is currently working with "High School Musical 1 & 2" actress/singer Vanessa Hudgens on a follow-up to her debut album, "V."

New York-based Downtown Music Publishing, helmed by president Justin Kalifowitz, opened its doors in January 2007. It has since acquired ownership or control of more than 1,000 songs recorded by such artists as Aretha Franklin, Mary J. Blige, Lily Allen and Kanye West. Downtown also holds an interest in the Mims' Hot 100 No. 1 single "This Is Why I'm Hot."

Downtown's publishing roster includes nearly all artists signed to its sister label, Downtown Records, including Mos Def, Cold War Kids, Santogold, Spank Rock, Carla Bruni and Kevin Michael.
