Univision radio morning personalities Enrique Santos and Joe Ferrero, famous
for their prank phone call to Venezuelan president Hugo Chávez impersonating Fidel Castro, will return to the Miami airwaves March 13.

Santos and Ferrero will host morning drive set "The Enrique and Joe Show" on Univision-owned WRTO, La Kalle (98.3 FM), after a one-year stint on sister station La Kalle 105.9 FM in New York.

Their move to Miami's La Kalle comes after shock jock Luis Jiménez began airing "The Luis Jiménez" show on that station this past January.

Santos and Ferrero were the longtime hosts of "El Vacilón," on WXDJ-FM, El Zol (95.7 ) in Miami. The station is owned by Univision rival network SBS. It was during their tenure there that Ferrero and Santos played the Castro/Chávez prank that resulted in much notoriety. The pair left SBS on March of last year and their non compete clause with the network expired earlier this month, enabling them to return.

The hosts of La Kalle's current morning show, "El Traqueteo," will take over the afternoon drive slot.

In turn, the Enrique and Joe show will compete against SBS' current version of "El Vacilón de Miami" on El Zol, which is now hosted by Ni Encendio and the "Pichy Boys."

According to Arbitron, Univision's WRTO is ranked No. 15 for listeners 12+ during morning drive hours for Winter Phase I (nov. 07-Jan. 08). SBS' WXDJ is ranked 17.

Ferrero and Santos will be panelists at the upcoming Billboard Latin Music Conference, where they will speak during the panel titled "Morning Show Radio in the Post-Imus Era." For more information, please visit www.billboardevents.com.
