Eclectic songstress-MC Santogold previewed her debut self-titled album--a 12 collection that mixes everything from pop, punk, goth, electronica, reggae to R&B--last night (April 3) for The set drops April 29 via Downtown/ADA.

Producers and songwriters Switch, Sinden, Freq Nasty, Diplo, Radioclit, Steel Pulse' Clifford "Moonie" Pusey, former Bad Brains drummer Chuck Treece, Spank Rock's Naeem Juwan, M.I.A., Trevor "Trouble" Andrew and the late producer Disco D all contribute to "Santogold."

The set features songs like the pop-punk "Say Aha"; "My Superman" where Santogold sings "You're a liar and you know your wrong" over a dragging beat that's reminiscent of Siouxsie and the Banshees; The Cars-like "Lights Out" and the Joy Division-esque "I'm a Lady."

"L.E.S. Artistes" is her first single and the song was originally pegged for a UK-specific release while "Creator" was intended for US audiences. However, American consumers gravitated towards "L.E.S. Artistes" and it's clip, featuring Santogold on a horse and people being splattered with paint, instead. Downtown is currently deciding Santogold's next official single.

Santogold will also be a guest on the "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" show on April 28.
