Hip-hop act Pitbull returns to bilingual channel mun2 for a new season of his TV series "La Esquina," set to begin airing in October.

"La Esquina," which debuted in May 2007, is a half hour show hosted by Pitbull, with comic sidekick The Fademaster, from a Miami street corner (or Esquina).

As in its past season, the eight episode series will explore social issues like the presidential elections, the environment and obesity with a comedic point of view and celebrity visits. This season the show will also introduce an animated component created by Joe Perez, Pitbull's brother, and titled "Rock, Pepe, Scissors."

"La Esquina" will air Wednesdays at 10 p.m.
