AARP, the advocacy group for those over the age of 50, announced that it is holding an air guitar and lip-synching contest with the band Foreigner.

The competition is a new addition to the group's sponsorship of Foreigner's current U.S. tour, which was revealed earlier this year.

Users can upload videos to of themselves miming singing and guitar playing to one of five Foreigner songs: "Too Late," "Cold as Ice," "Hot Blooded," "Juke Box Hero" and "Feels Like the First Time."

Potential entrants can also perform at a mobile recording studio that will be at select tour stops. "We cannot wait to watch the videos," said Mick Jones, lead guitarist and founder of Foreigner, in a statement. "I'm sure that we're going to see some fantastic air guitar players who'll look even better up there than some of us."

The contest will run until November 1, with the AARP and Foreigner picking the top 20 finalists and posting them online on November 17. User then vote for their favorites with a winner announced in early December. Prizes include a Mick Jones autographed Gibson guitar and a trip to Honolulu to hang out with the band on New Year's Eve.
