U.K. alt-rock act Jarvis Cocker has confirmed a May 18 release for his second solo album, which is titled "Further Complications" (Rough Trade).

He recently announced four dates in support of the album, starting in Blackpool at the Empress Ballroom on June 10 and continuing through Glasgow (ABC, June 12), Brighton (Dome, June 16) and London (Troxy, June 17).

X-Ray Touring looks after Cocker's U.K. tours, with Metropolis, SJM and DF Concerts promoting different areas within the U.K.

The former Pulp singer incorporated lectures into his last U.K. tour -- a five-date run in November and December last year -- but will not continue this during the June dates.
