Far East Movement hosted an album listening party Aug. 26 at Above Allen in the Thompson LES Hotel in New York. The group worked with artists and producers including Ryan Tedder, Snoop Dogg, Lil Jon, Keri Hilson, Pitbull and Bruno Mars on its blend of hip-hop/electro/dance music. Its first single, “Like a G6,” is No. 21 on the Billboard Hot 100. The group has already had several songs placed in TV and film, including “Entourage,” “CSI,” “Gossip Girl” and “Get Him to the Greek,” before it releases its debut album, “Free Wired,” Oct. 12 on Cherrytree/Interscope Records.
