Digital distributor the Orchard has announced a spate of new artist and label signings to close out the year, including deals with Ryan Adams and Joss Stone.

The Orchard will also release albums by country artist Big Kenny and alt-rockers Buffalo Tom, as well as previously unreleased music by Charles Mingus through a deal with his estate.

New label deals include agreements with rap labels Gracie Productions and Enemy Soil; reggae label Jet Star; Coalition of Independent Music Stores label Junket Boy; and Ammal Records, the label arm of Danny Goldberg's Gold Village management company.
