Canadian songstress and Lilith Fair founder Sarah McLachlan is splitting with her long-time manager Terry McBride.

The Globe and Mail newspaper on Tuesday said McBride, CEO and co-founder of Nettwerk Music Group, said he and Grammy-winning McLachlan will be parting ways. "Sarah and Nettwerk have had an amazing 23 years with over 30 million sales and we wish her much more success," McBride said in a e-mail statement to the newspaper.

Vancouver-based McLachlan broke out in Canadian music with her 1988 debut album Touch, before founding Lilith Fair in 1997 as all-female concert tour. In 2010, McLachlan released Laws of Illusion, her first studio album in seven years, after a rocky period in her personal life.
