NARM, the nonprofit trade association for music business, and digitalmusic.org (DMO). the home for NARM's digital incentives, have announced six digital music companies have become the association's newest members.
Don't miss Billboard's FutureSound Conference, taking place November 17-18 at Terra in San Francisco. FutureSound will feature keynotes, workshops and panels with today's top minds in music technology, investment and the music biz.
They are: digital music licensing service Getty Images Music, on-demand digital music service Spotify, social media site Turntable.fm, digital radio service Slacker, Internet radio site Dubset, and mobile music service AudioVroom by Social Genius.
Bill Wilson, DMO Vice President of Digital Strategy and Business Development said in a statement that, "All of these services are pushing the music industry forward in their own unique ways, and we look forward to working with them."
By signing with NARM, the six companies are joining the company's mass repertoire, including the on-demand social music service Rdio, music video provider Vevo, RootMusic, the Royal Group and others.
